GROUPS & WORKSHOPS

  • UNDERSTANDING PARTNER BETRAYAL TRAUMA WORKSHOP

This workshop is offered several times throughout the year and is designed for couples struggling to understand the Partner’s experience of betrayal. The addict will learn more about the traumatic impact their behaviors have had on their partners.

The workshop is divided into two sections with the partners attending the morning session. They will view a film titled “Helping Her Heal” followed by a discussion and process of the film. They will be given materials regarding resources and boundary setting as well as gain support from other partners and the facilitators. They leave feeling validated and understood.

The Sex Addicts attend the afternoon session where they watch the same film “Helping Her Heal” and then discuss and process the powerful effect of the film. They are given materials to help them listen and communicate with their partners in more effective ways. They begin to feel and express empathy. The afternoon ends with some role-playing to practice the communication and empathy skills they’ve learned.

Please contact us for the date and location of our next workshop.
